BIOGRAPHY

Susan Spiritus Gallery is pleased to be working with CAROL HENRY once again and representing her magnificent floral creations.

Carol Henry has been represented in 34 galleries and 200 exhibitions. Early on she developed a camera-less technique on Cibachrome paper she titled Florachromes and Shadowgraphs, that led her through over two decades of unique printing. She studied Art at the University of Cincinnati, photography at UCLA and has a BFA in Photography from Northern Michigan University. Carol spent 3 years as the fine print specialist for the Ansel Adams Gallery for Ansel’s signed originals, was a 3-year artist-in-residence at Studio Channel Islands Art Center, is a charter member of Women in Photography International, a founding partner of Carmel Visual Arts and gallery director at Post Ranch in Big Sur. Carol ’s work is widely collected both nationally and internationally and is in many permanent and corporate collections. She has spent the last several years curating exhibitions in mediums of photography and painting.
